1. The Partner Relationship
1.1 Quoteboiler LTD (Company No. [XXXXXXXX]), registered in England and Wales ("Quoteboiler", "we", "us") provides an introduction service connecting homeowners seeking boiler services with Gas Safe registered engineers ("Partners").
1.2 By registering as a Partner, you agree to these terms, which form a legally binding contract between you and Quoteboiler LTD.
1.3 You are an independent contractor. Nothing in these terms creates an employment relationship, agency, or partnership between you and Quoteboiler LTD.
2. Eligibility Requirements
2.1 All Partners must hold a valid Gas Safe registration covering the categories of work they intend to quote for at all times while listed on the platform.
2.2 You must immediately notify Quoteboiler if your Gas Safe registration lapses, is suspended, is revoked, or changes in scope.
2.3 Failure to maintain a valid Gas Safe registration will result in immediate suspension from the platform without notice.
2.4 You must be legally authorised to work in the United Kingdom and to carry out the services you offer.
3. Fees and Payment
3.1 Lead fees are charged per accepted lead at the rates displayed in your Partner Dashboard at the time of acceptance. Current rates are:

3.2 Lead fees are charged via Stripe at the point you accept a lead.
3.3 Commission fees based on completed job values are invoiced monthly, with invoices issued on the 1st of each month. Payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date.
3.4 Late payments will incur statutory interest at 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate from the due date, pursuant to the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
3.5 Quoteboiler reserves the right to amend pricing with 30 days' written notice to Partners.
4. Partner Obligations
4.1 You must respond to leads within 24 hours of receiving notification, or mark yourself as unavailable in your dashboard. Consistent non-response may result in account suspension.
4.2 You must honour the quoted price provided to a homeowner unless material changes to the agreed job scope arise, in which case any price variation must be agreed in writing with the homeowner before additional work commences.
4.3 All work must be carried out to the standards required by the Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations 1998, applicable UK Building Regulations, and any other relevant legislation.
4.4 You must carry appropriate public liability insurance for the work you undertake through the platform. We recommend a minimum of £2,000,000 cover.
4.5 You must provide homeowners with a Gas Safe certificate for all notifiable gas work upon completion.
5. Off-Platform Contact — Strictly Prohibited
5.1 You must not contact homeowners introduced to you via Quoteboiler directly — outside the platform — for the purpose of completing the same or similar job without using Quoteboiler and paying the applicable commission.
5.2 Breach of clause 5.1 will result in: (a) immediate permanent removal from the platform; (b) a penalty charge equal to 3× the applicable commission fee; and (c) referral to our solicitors for recovery of fees owed.
6. Reviews and Reputation
6.1 Quoteboiler may display homeowner reviews of your work on the platform and in marketing materials.
6.2 You must not offer incentives to homeowners in exchange for positive reviews, or request that they remove negative reviews.
6.3 Quoteboiler will investigate complaints fairly and give you the opportunity to respond before taking any action against your account.
7. Suspension and Termination
7.1 Quoteboiler reserves the right to suspend or remove a Partner with immediate effect for any of the following:
- Lapsed, suspended, or revoked Gas Safe registration
- Two or more upheld homeowner complaints
- Fraudulent activity or misrepresentation
- Off-platform contact with homeowners (clause 5.1)
- Material breach of any provision of these terms
- Non-payment of outstanding fees
7.2 Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days' written notice to the other party.
7.3 All outstanding fees remain due and payable upon termination, regardless of the reason for termination.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1 Quoteboiler's total liability to a Partner in any 12-month period shall not exceed the total fees paid by that Partner to Quoteboiler in that same period.
8.2 Quoteboiler is not liable for loss of earnings, missed opportunities, or indirect losses arising from platform downtime, lead quality, or homeowner behaviour.
8.3 Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.
9. Data and GDPR
9.1 Homeowner personal data shared with you via the platform is provided solely for the purpose of submitting quotes and completing jobs. You must not use this data for any other purpose, including marketing.
9.2 You must handle all personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
9.3 Upon termination, you must delete all homeowner personal data obtained via Quoteboiler that is no longer required for legal or contractual purposes.
10. Governing Law
10.1 These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
10.2 Any dispute arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
